AlphaPoint Nabs R3’s Grayson for Enterprise Sales
Grayson's extensive experience and contacts within the fintech sector will help AlphaPoint expand its business, officials say.
New York-based blockchain technology provider AlphaPoint has hired fintech vet Scott Grayson as SVP and head of enterprise sales, responsible for expanding the vendor’s client base of companies seeking technology to generate digital assets.
Grayson was most recently chief sales officer at rival blockchain technology provider R3, prior to which he was a VP at Charles River Development, spent five years as at SAP North America as VP of sales and national practice lead for capital markets, prior to which he was MD and global head of sales at Progress Apama, and previously spent seven years at Algorithmics as MD and head of North American sales.
Commenting on Grayson’s hire, AlphaPoint CEO Salil Donde said Grayson’s experience in the fintech sector, understanding of capital markets players, and relationships with key industry stakeholders will be “a significant value-add” to the vendor.
