Atlanta-based Atlanta Capital will use version 9 of the Charles River IMS to automate portfolio management, trading and compliance across its domestic equity operations.

"Charles River IMS enabled us to replace separate OMS, EMS, FIX network, and real-time data providers with a single solution that increases trading efficiency and allows us to reduce risk and cost," says Atlanta Capital President and COO Kelly Williams. "Charles River's multi-asset class coverage will support our growth strategies and expanding investment needs."

According to the Burlington, Mass-based buy-side vendor, Charles River IMS Version 9 merges traditional order management with execution management capabilities such as watch lists, charts, level-II real-time data, and smart order routing, giving Atlanta Capital's traders a single trading blotter with more consistent, streamlined workflows.
