What price market share? -- part II. ADP's takeover of Bunker Ramo is looking better and better. Sources say ADP will consolidate Trumbull, CT operations in one building, sell other building for $20 million. Added to $20 million already collected from sale of Bunker's banking business to Olivetti, $80 million Bunker purchase price is cut to $40 million. By trimming Bunker work force down to several hundred, ADP hopes to earn $10 million from Bunker operations this year, says source.
Satellite Data Network plans "very substantial upgrade and expansion" to feed aimed at home satellite dish market, says Richard Weening, president of Agridata Resources, Inc., partner in SDN. Upgrade is expected in mid-November, will include real-time futures data to supplement existing delayed service.
