CJC Reshuffles Senior Tech Roles, Expands Board
CJC has promoted Peter Williams to chief technology officer, replacing co-founder Paul Tomblin, who becomes chief information officer.
The new position will see Williams take responsibility for developing customer-focused solutions for clients worldwide. He will also provide oversight of engineering research and development and continue to develop the vendor’s cloud platform. Williams joined CJC in 2008 as director of EMEA operations, prior to which he held market data consultant and support engineer roles at BNP Paribas, Credit Suisse and Tullett Prebon.
Williams takes over the role of CTO from co-founder Paul Tomblin, who becomes chief information officer.
The vendor has also appointed Kevin Covington, CEO of Australian low-latency switch vendor Metamako and former CEO of systems monitoring vendor ITRS, and tech entrepreneur Tom Kozlowski to its board as non-executive directors.
“Kevin and Tom… bring a wealth of industry experience and technology insight which will stand us in good stead as we progress our ambition to become a leading strategic partner to organizations looking to cut the costs of their data operations, transform their commercial processes and address regulatory obligations,” says CJC co-founder and CEO Paul Gow in a statement.
“It’s great to have such high-caliber executives experienced at managing growth on board at this pivotal time as we begin to roll out new products and solutions and extend our client base across key global markets,” he adds.
