The deal with Kx will enable CoreOne to better manage the growing amount of client data volumes, while performing complex analytics quickly. The database will provide access to streaming, real-time and historical data for CoreOne's expanding client base, which includes asset managers and investment banks, and will replace existing legacy databases. Kdb+ is expected to manage several gigabytes of data per client.

"The kdb+ high-speed, in-memory analytics is an ideal fit for our clients and adds significant benefit to our reporting framework by greatly reducing query time," said Ishan Manaktala, chief operating officer at CoreOne, in a statement. "We process millions of records a day and require a data platform capable of managing huge volumes of structured data. It was essential to our regulatory service to invest in our application's ability, not only to read incoming transaction data in large volumes but also to quickly perform calculations and generate the analytics required by our clients."
