GoldenSource Taps Trading, FinTech Vet Pulandaran

Pulandaran will continue to drive Asia-Pacific's status at the fastest-growing region of GoldenSource's business, officials say.

Data management platform vendor GoldenSource has named former Broadridge and SunGard exec Ramesh Pulandaran head of sales for the Asia Pacific to boost the vendor’s client base and ability to serve existing clients in the region, which is its fastest-growing geography, officials say.

Most recently, Pulandaran spent almost five years at Broadridge Financial Solutions as MD of capital markets for Asia Pacific, prior to which he was senior sales director for post-trade solutions in the region at SunGard Global Trading, and before that was regional head for the ASEAN (Association of South East Asian Nations) region and Singapore country head at the Charted Institute for Securities & Investment Singapore. Before that, he was a consultant to various companies, prior to which he was Asia CEO of WorldSpreads Group, executive director and COO of City Index Asia, and manager of US equity trading at Etrade Financial.

At GoldenSource, Pulandaran is based in Singapore, and reports to Neill Vanlint, MD of global sales and client operations.
