Hanweck Hires CMO, Support Engineer
The new hires are designed to support ongoing growth at the vendor, in addition to other sales and account management hires made earlier this year.
Based in New York, McGregor previously spent 10 years at the International Securities Exchange, most recently as senior vice president of communications, marketing and government relations, before which she was a policy advisor at the Institute of International Finance and an analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston.
She reports to Hanweck founder and chief executive Gerald Hanweck.
In addition, the vendor has hired Clare Dunne in Belfast as client services engineer. Dunne has spent a decade in trading application and client support roles, most recently as a senior application support executive at Stellar Trading Systems, prior to which she was an IT executive at Citigroup.
She reports to Rosemary Dolan, senior support manager at Hanweck.
Officials say these, together with other sales hires earlier this year will help the vendor build on recent success for its Volera Risk Analytics platform and expand into new client types, such as hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, retail broker-dealers, exchanges and clearing firms.
"Hanweck operates in a complex market where acquiring the right talent is essential to our ability to solve the needs of our sophisticated, global customer base. With these new additions, we have the right team in place across our three offices in New York, Chicago and Belfast to deepen relationships with existing customers while building our presence in new client segments," Hanweck says.
