Reuters released the salaries of its executive directors for 1993. according to current exchange rates, Peter Job, chief executive, made an estimated $644,000 for 1993, up some $58,000 from the previous year. David Ure made some $447,000, up about $33,000. Andre Villeneuve, however, was down about a thousand dollars -- falling to $453,000 from $454,000. It was also noted that in 1993 five unnamed executives earned more than Job.

Sophie Farago, erstwhile Knight-Ridder Financial product marketing test specialist, has left her post. Farago can now be found at Market Vision, where she serves as a trading applications specialist. She is now responsible for support and training of Market Vision's customers in the use of its technical and analytical applications. Also at Knight- Ridder, some goings on in the sales department: Chris Devit, a former vice-president of sales, has been demoted. Devit has been made a sales manager with responsibilities in the northeast region. A spokesperson says only that Devit has been "shifted," and that no one is set to replace him. Also, Steve Baker, a Knight-Ridder account executive, has left Knight-Ridder for ADP, where he will work in sales.

John Reyes -- a Telerate regional salesman -- has left Telerate to join R.H. Wrightson & Associates. He will serve as U.S. sales director. He follows Steve Sivakoff, who left Telerate for Wrightson after a three-year tenure (IMD, Jan. 17). Wrightson is known for its two fundamental analysis services currently exclusive to Telerate: Money Market Observer, which watches activity at the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank, and European Market Observer, which covers European government debt. Sivakoff was hired to establish a Wrightson foothold in Asia; a source says that Reyes will assist in the development of the Asian group.

Marjorie Klein, a one-time Telerate senior sales executive specializing in the fixed-income and commodities markets, has left the New York City-based market consulting firm High Frequency Economics Ltd. (HFE) for Govpx Inc. She will hold the newly minted role of vice president of sales and marketing; at HFE, she was director of national and worldwide sales.

Ex-Morgan Stanley & Co. market data pro Glen Weinbaum has a new job. Weinbaum is now in the logistics department in the New York offices of UBS Securities. Weinbaum's responsibilities at Morgan Stanley were carved up among the market data department upon his departure earlier this year (IMD, Feb. 14).

Dun & Bradstreet Corp.'s Dun & Bradstreet Information Services (North America), has positions available in its Portfolio Analysis department. D&B's Supplier portfolio analysis process integrates supplier information with D&B's proprietary database. The analyst position requires PC and database literacy, and an MBA degree wouldn't hurt either, according to an ad.

Technimetrics Inc., a Knight-Ridder subsidiary specializing in the creation of global financial databases, is looking for a director of technology. The chosen techie will work in Technimetrics' New York office and manage the development of a client/server platform.

ADP is looking for two directors: one to head the marketing of its consumer products, the other to lead the marketing of bank products. Also needed at ADP -- a marketing specialist.
