Steve Sivakoff, who left Dow Jones Telerate late last year (IMD, Dec. 9, 1993), is now marketing director at R.H. Wrightson & Associates. Wrightson provides two fundamental analysis services currently exclusive to Telerate: Money Market Observer, which watches activities at the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank and European Market Observer, which covers European government debt. Sivakoff will establish operations for Wrightson in Asia. Prior to his three-year tenure at Telerate, Sivakoff had worked at Wrightson rival MMS International, where he managed regional sales and was product manager for Asian services.

Paula Loring Simon, formerly a Dow Jones Telerate vice president for planning and coordination in the vendor's quality assurance group, has landed at Metropolitan Life, where she is general manager of the firm's IS center in Scranton, Penn.

As its manager of commodity markets, Knight-Ridder has hired John Bylancik, previously a marketing manager for Reuters, where he managed Commodity 2000 and Futures 2000.
