Morton Mackoff has been named president of Track Data Corp., a New York-based supplier of equity and derivative market data. Mackoff, previously the executive vice president, responsible for sales and marketing, takes over for Barry Hertz, who remains chairman. Mackoff continues to serve as president of Newsware, a New York-based news delivery service. Track Data is the major shareholder of Newsware.

David Cutler has joined Chicago-based PC Quote Inc. as sales manager for the northeast region. Most recently Cutler was a northeast regional account manager for Futuresource Inc., a Lombard, Ill.-based futures, options and cash market data vendor. Before that he was manager of broker/dealer sales for New York-based Merrin Financial Inc., a provider of institutional order management systems. In his new post, Cutler reports to Jerry Traver, vice president of sales and marketing.

"The major reason [Cutler] was brought in was to sell Hyperfeed, [PC Quote's digital market data feed], into the New York financial community," Traver says.
