Interactive Brokers Expands OTC Markets Content

Officials say the data will give Interactive Brokers' clients a more comprehensive view of trading on OTC Markets' platforms.

Interactive Brokers' customers will now have access to complete quote data for securities traded on OTC Markets' OTCQX, OTCQB and Pink marketplaces, as well as unique security information such as Market Designation, Security Type, Piggyback Status and Caveat Emptor status.

Officials say the deal provides "a real-time, complete view" of OTC Markets' trading. "By integrating our data into... [Interactive Brokers'] trading applications, we are giving individual and institutional investors a superior information experience to make intelligent trading decisions," says Matthew Fuchs, executive vice president of market data and strategy at OTC Markets, in a statement.

"Real-time Level 2 data... will give our users greater access to depth of liquidity information on OTCQX, OTCQB and Pink securities and provide a more comprehensive view into this important market," adds Steve Sanders, EVP of marketing and product development at Interactive Brokers, in a statement.
