Meridian Live on Fascet’s EDM Platform
Meridian Global Fund Services Group, a Bermuda-based fund administration service provider, has deployed enterprise data management (EDM) software vendor Fascet's Fascet Balance matching and reporting tool, and Fascet Conduit integration platform to automate back-office processes.
The Fascet implementation allows the administrator to achieve more efficient data normalization and business process management. Meridian has also now automated its transaction matching and account reconciliation operations.
According to Meridian CEO Tom Davis, the increasingly complex needs of the administrator's buy-side client base required a more advanced back-office support infrastructure. Clients' larger trading volumes and use of managed accounts and multiple prime brokers necessitated extended data management capabilities, Davis stated in a Fascet press release.
