Oslo Børs Readies T+2 for 2014

Oslo Børs will move to the shortened settlement cycle in accordance with regulatory measures.

Oslo Børs VPS Holding ASA is the owner of Oslo Børs ASA, Verdipapirsentralen ASA, Oslo Clearing ASA and Oslo Market Solutions AS. The venue operator cited the incoming Central Securities Depository Regulation (CSD Reg), which is mandating a move from T+3 to T+2 across Europe, as a reason for the move.

The company also mentioned, in a press release, that it will support a coordinated Nordic effort to move to the shorter settlement cycle.
