A look at some recent people moves within the capital markets and data space.

Broadridge taps Bunouf and Del Pino Aguilera for European sales team

Broadridge Financial Solutions has hired Guillaume Bunouf and Alvaro del Pino Aguilera. Bunouf will be leading sales for Broadridge’s Capital Markets Solutions team, based in Paris. He was recently at FIS, in the role of global head of product management within the cleared derivatives group.

Alvaro Del Pino Aguilera will serve as the director for the Iberia region of Spain, as well as Italy, Greece and the Middle East. Before joining Broadridge, Del Pino Aguilera also worked at FIS, as well as Torstone Technology.

Both new hires will report to Severine Melis-Cooper, Broadridge’s head of sales for banking and capital markets in southern Europe and the MEA region.

Siepe adds two members to board of directors

Siepe, a technology, data and analytics provider, has announced that Robert Tomicic and Ann Kono have been appointed to its board of directors.

Tomicic, co-founded Virtus Partners, a technology provider for alternative asset managers in 2005 and worked there for 13 years as a partner. He also spent eight years at JP Morgan as a global product manager for collateralized debt obligations and collateralized loan obligations. He currently also is a board member at Loan Ecosystem Online, a fintech platform for the syndicated loan industry.

Kono founded Leda Advisory Group in 2019, and previously worked as chief information and risk officer at Ares Management Corporation. Before Ares, Kono worked at Western Asset Management.

Tradeweb appoints Dixon to board of directors

Tradeweb Markets, an operator of electronic marketplaces for rates, credit, equities and money markets, announced the appointment of Troy Dixon to its board of directors.

Dixon is the founder and chief investment officer of Hollis Park Partners, an alternative asset manager, and has held the position since 2013. Before this, Dixon led residential mortgage-backed securities trading at UBS and also worked at Deutsche Bank.

DKK appoints ex-Citi Sen

DKK Partners, an emerging markets foreign exchange liquidity provider, has appointed Sandip Sen as a board advisor.

Sen, who worked at Citi for almost 30 years, will oversee DKK’s international expansion as the company prepares to open more offices across Africa and the Middle East.

Octaura hires Carballo as new CTO

Electronic trading platform Octaura announced the appointment of Luis Carballo as the company’s first chief technology officer.

Carballo was previously CTO at Cencor. He also created the product architecture for Bolsa Institucional de Valores, Mexico’s second stock exchange.
