Craig Trim Appointed Senior Software Engineer at Casuality Link
Causality Link has hired Craig Trim as its senior software engineer: NLP. In the new role, Trim will work on enhancing the firm’s AI-based offering, Research Assistant.
Trim previously worked at IBM, and has spent the majority of his software engineering career at the firm. He was most recently a senior managing consultant, leading teams in the inception, creation and deployment of chatbots for companies.
Trim was also previously the chief technology officer for cognitive computing company Dristi.
Pirum Promotes Phil Morgan to CEO
Pirum Systems has promoted Phil Morgan to be its chief executive effective from August 10.
Morgan, currently chief operating officer and head of sales, joined Pirum in 2016 as global head of business development. He was previously employed at Nomura where he worked for seven years.
The current chief executive, Rajen Sheth, will remain on the board and become president.
Itiviti Appoints Elly Hardwick to Board of Directors
Itiviti has announced the appointment of Elly Hardwick to its board of directors.
In her 25-year career, she has held a number of senior roles, including chief digital officer at UBS and head of innovation at Deutsche Bank. Between 2012 and 2016, she was CEO of fintech startup Credit Benchmark. Among other roles she has also worked within institutional equities at Morgan Stanley and as global head of strategy, investment and advisory, at Thomson Reuters (new Refinitiv).
Hardwick is also a non-executive director with Axis Capital and Alpha Bank.
Apex Group Makes Senior Corporate Hires
Financial services provider Apex Group has announced the appointment of a new global head of capital markets and a head of UK listed funds.
Paul Wilden joined the firm in January as the global head of capital markets, and is tasked to lead the development of the group’s offering in the sector. Previously he worked for two years as the global head of capital markets at TMF Group. He has also held senior roles at Standard Chartered Bank, BNY Mellon and Barclays.
The firm has also appointed Anthony Lee joins to take up the role of head of UK listed funds. He has previously held senior positions at Cavendish Administration and then PraxisIFM Group.
Apex made the hiring announcements alongside the launch of a new compliance solutions service.
Capco Taps David Feltes to Lead UK Financial Market Infrastructure practice
Management and technology consultancy Capco has announced the appointment of David Feltes as UK Financial Markets Infrastructure (FMI) Practice Lead.
Feltes was previously CEO of proprietary market maker Marquette Partners Ltd. He has also worked at CME Group, Oliver Wyman and FMI Space.
Commcise Software Taps Allan Goldstein as Head of North American Business Development
Allan Goldstein has joined Commcise Software as head of North American business development.
In the new role Goldstein will introduce the firm’s Aggregation 2.0 commission management solution to US investment managers.
Goldstein previously worked at Trade Informatics, where he served as chief operating officer for 12 years.
LiquidityBook Hires Chris Junge As Vice President Customer Success
SaaS-based provider LiquidityBook has announced the appointment of Chris Junge as vice president of customer success.
Based in New York, Junge will oversee all aspects of the customer support process and work closely with the product and deployment groups at the firm.
Junge previously worked at Eze Software Group, where he worked for nearly two decades. He last served as director of customer success, a role for which he created and led a team of customer success managers and worked across different teams.
