OpenFin adds Vicky Sanders as chief digital officer
OpenFin, a desktop interoperability operating system provider, has appointed Vicky Sanders as chief digital officer. Sanders will drive digital transformation across the company’s ecosystem of buy- and sell-side institutions, along with the global vendor community.
She most recently served as chief commercial officer for TP Icap’s agency execution division, where she was responsible for overseeing the commercial strategy of the Liquidnet and Coex Partners businesses. Prior to that, she co-founded RSRCHXchange in 2014, a fintech operating as an aggregator and marketplace for institutional research, and led the business through the acquisition by Liquidnet. During her time at Liquidnet, she served as head of investment analytics, before Liquidnet’s acquisition by TP Icap.
Citi makes appointments to digital assets team
Ryan Rugg is joining Citi as global head of digital assets for treasury and trade solutions (TTS) while David Cunningham joins as director and strategic partner development for digital assets for TTS.
Rugg most recently served as partner and head of IBM Americas blockchain team for consulting. Prior to that, she was the global head of the business industry unit at enterprise software firm R3, and held roles at Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley, and JPMorgan. Cunningham previously served as chief commercial officer at LexTego, a regtech focused on transaction monitoring to prevent financial crime, as well as chair of crypto exchange Coinmama, and entrepreneur in residence for Techstars Web3 accelerator.
Cunningham will be based in Dublin and report to Kunal Bist, global head of strategic partnerships, treasury and trade solutions with a matrix into Rugg. Rugg will be based in New York and report to Carol Grunberg, global head of partnerships and innovation, treasury and trade solutions with a matrix into Puneet Singhvi, global head of digital assets, institutional clients group.
Genesis Global names chief marketing officer
Genesis Global, a provider of low-code application development platforms, has named Jason Jhonson as chief marketing officer. Jhonson joins Genesis from Improbable, the metaverse technology company, where he served as CMO, and previously chief commercial officer. Before that, he served in marketing roles at GitHub, PayPal and Yahoo
Jhonson reports to chief executive officer, Stephen Murphy.
Nichola Hunter to lead fixed income sales globally at Liquidnet
Liquidnet has appointed Nichola Hunter as global head of sales for fixed income. Hunter will be responsible for growing client relationships through the delivery of tailored solutions.
Prior to joining Liquidnet, she was head of rates at MarketAxess, a firm she joined following the acquisition of LiquidityEdge LLC, where she served as chief executive officer. Prior to LiquidityEdge, Hunter held various senior positions at Icap (now TP Icap). Based in London, she reports directly to Liquidnet’s global head of fixed income, Mark Russell.
OptionMetrics adds two executives to leadership team
OptionMetrics, an options database and analytics provider for institutional investors and academic researchers, is announcing it has added Diarmuid Kelleher as chief financial officer and Moti Mizrahi as vice president, product & technology.
As CFO, Kelleher will work closely with chief executive officer David Hait on short- and long-term financial planning and maximizing revenues, measuring productivity, assessing market expansion strategies, and evaluating partnerships. Most recently Kelleher was vice president, head of financial planning and analysis at professional services firm AST. He was also senior managing director, head of financial planning and analysis at OneMain Financial.
As OptionMetrics’ new VP of product & technology, Mizrahi will focus on driving growth in technology, innovation, and user experience. Most recently, he was chief technology officer at Charidy and Negba Group. He has also held senior roles in customer experience and software development at Cisco and HP.
