Stepp steps in as FactSet CTO
FactSet has promoted Kate Stepp to serve as the data provider’s chief technology officer, bringing her engineering, product, and organizational knowledge to the role of leading the company’s technology organization and overseeing its digital transformation strategy.
Stepp joined FactSet in 2008 and is currently senior director of product management within FactSet’s research and advisory workflow solutions business. Prior to this role, she was senior director of engineering within FactSet’s research workflow solutions business. During Stepp’s tenure at FactSet, she has been a key contributor to many strategic initiatives, including FactSet’s web offering, cognitive-powered insights, and FactSet for CRM.
Stepp will continue to be based in London and report directly to FactSet’s CEO, Phil Snow.
Pawar joins Talos as strategic adviser
Talos, a provider of institutional digital asset trading technology, has recruited Neal Pawar as the company’s latest strategic adviser. Pawar is currently chief operating officer of Qontigo, a provider of index, analytics, and risk solutions that is part of Deutsche Börse Group, and also serves as a board member at CAIS, an alternative investment platform.
He was previously managing director and CIO of UBS Wealth Management, group CIO at Deutsche Bank, and partner at both D.E. Shaw & Co. and AQR Capital.
Broadridge hires UK consulting lead
Broadridge has hired David Turmaine as UK practice lead for its consulting services business. Turmaine will be responsible for expanding the footprint of Broadridge’s post-trade and digital asset consultancy across the UK, Europe, and APAC.
Turmaine joins Broadridge from Capco, where he was executive director. He previously held roles at Accenture in post-trade processing and, prior to that, a 12-year tenure at JP Morgan, during which his responsibilities included head of securities and prime brokerage operations.
TS Imagine expands executive team
TS Imagine, a provider of trading, portfolio, and risk management solutions for capital markets, has named Thomas Bodenski chief operating officer as the firm expands its executive team to support growth. He will lead the firm’s business operations across TS Imagine’s integrated trading, portfolio, and real-time risk solutions.
Bodenski previously served as chief transformation and data officer for TS Imagine. Prior to that, he was the founding partner and chief data and analytics officer for Element 22. He also spent time at Capco and GoldenSource.
