Opensee taps Richard for managing director role
Opensee, which provides data access and analytics to financial institutions, has appointed Emmanuel Richard to the role of chief growth officer and managing director of North American operations, headquartered in New York.
Richard has 25 years of experience in the technology industry in Europe and the US. He joined Opensee from enterprise software support company Rimini Street, where he was senior vice president and general manager for Americas.
BestEx Research appoints Cousens to head of Emea equities role
BestEx Research, a provider of algorithmic execution and measurement solutions for equities, futures, and FX trading, has announced the appointment of Matthew Cousens to head of Emea equities.
Cousens joined BestEx Research with more than 22 years of experience in equities trading with a focus on electronic and algorithmic trading. Most recently, he was named head of Emea platform sales at Citi.
He has also served as co-head of electronic trading and head of Emea equities execution sales at Barclays and spent 12 years in Advanced Execution Services (AES) at Credit Suisse, becoming the co-head of AES sales for Emea.
Surecomp hires Weiser as CRO
Surecomp announced the appointment of Tal Weiser as chief revenue officer (CRO) to accelerate digital trade finance adoption and support the company’s growth objectives.
Weiser has over 20 years of experience in the fintech and telecommunication industries, and joins Surecomp from Finastra’s payments division.
LSEG taps Singh and Lefferts
London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) announced that Satvinder Singh will join on July 3 as group head of data and analytics, and as a member of the LSEG executive committee. He will report to LSEG CEO David Schwimmer.
Satvinder will lead LSEG’s data and analytics businesses as well as the joint development of new products and services in LSEG’s strategic partnership with Microsoft.
The exchange operator has also appointed Ron Lefferts, group head of sales and account management, to the LSEG executive committee. Based in New York, Lefferts joined LSEG in 2021 to lead the data and analytics sales and LSEG key account teams.
TS Imagine expands North American sales team
TS Imagine, a cross-asset provider of trading, portfolio, and risk management solutions for financial services firms, announced two sales hires in North America.
James Muench joins as sales director, where he will help develop TS Imagine’s fixed-income business in North America. Muench most recently led US credit sales at Tradeweb, and prior to that, he spent nine years at Barclays Capital.
Jake Elkins joins as sales director, where he will contribute to TS Imagine’s growth across North America. Elkins joins from IHS Markit, where he managed equity sales for large asset managers and sell-side clients.
Confluence appoints Binstock to board of directors
Software provider Confluence announced that Joan Binstock has joined its board of directors.
Binstock has more than 30 years of experience in the asset management industry. She currently serves as an independent director and audit chair at KKR Real Estate Select Trust, as well as a board member for both Morgan Stanley Direct Lending Fund, and Brown Brothers Harriman US mutual funds.
Abacus Group adds first CRO
Abacus Group, a security services provider to alternative investment firms, has appointed Jonathan Shapiro as its first CRO.
As CRO, he will institutionalize the sales strategy and processes required to expand Abacus Group’s technology platform, focusing on driving new client revenue growth and expanding the company’s sales team headcount to cover all geographies.
NeoXam names new CEO following Eurazeo investment
Financial software company NeoXam has announced Florent Fabre as its new CEO.
With over two decades of experience in the financial software industry, Fabre has served in various roles, including NeoXam COO and group managing director since 2015.
His promotion coincides with a recent investment made by Eurazeo in NeoXam, which has made the private equity firm the majority shareholder in NeoXam.
