Rimes Technologies appoints Hunt as CEO

Rimes Technologies, a provider in managed data services for financial institutions, has appointed Brad Hunt as its chief executive offer. Hunt becomes CEO as RIMES develops its data management solutions for asset managers.

Hunt will lead Rimes in expanding its “lean data management” approach to managed data services following the launch of the company’s cloud-based data management solution in April. He aims to focus on expanding the firm’s value proposition to the investment community by delivering new outsourced data management solutions that plan to address the industry issues of data complexity and cost.

He has 30 years of experience in business growth in wholesale capital markets, electronic trading, data services, and financial technology. Prior to joining Rimes, Hunt ran strategy and business development at Bank of New York Mellon’s Global Markets division, where he led business and digital transformation.

Rimes’s co-founder and now-former CEO, Christian Fauvelais, retains a role on the company’s board where he continues to provide guidance and support over the company’s strategy.

Andrea Remyn Stone will become group head of data and analytics, effective July 1. Stone, who is currently chief product officer of data and analytics, will work with Craig to ensure a smooth transition of operational and integration priorities. Craig will serve in an advisory capacity to LSEG until the end of 2021.
