Techstars Taps Zanoff as Entrepreneur in Residence for Startups
Zanoff will bring his background as a financial technology veteran and entrepreneur to assist startup FinTech ventures.
Zanoff was most recently a director at BlackRock, prior to which he was head of platform strategy for Redi Global Technologies at Goldman Sachs, and founded mobile app development company Liquid Fare.
Before that, Zanoff was executive director of global product strategy at Instinet, served as director of product strategy for capital markets at E*Trade, and was a trader on the American Stock Exchange for Group One Trading.
"After 15 years building industry-leading FinTech products for some of the world's largest investment banks and asset managers, I couldn't be more excited for this latest challenge. As entrepreneur in residence at Techstars, I'll be helping entrepreneurs seek out and capitalize on subject matter experts to solve critical problems in finance [and] ensuring the curse of the incumbent technologists does not paralyze innovation," Zanoff says.
Techstars' accelerator program selects around 10 promising financial technology startups to participate in a 13week program designed to accelerate growth through "heavy mentorship, engagement-meaning proof of concepts, experiments, and pilots-and fundraising and storytelling," he adds.
