M&G Investments selects Bloomberg Enterprise Data as sanctions data provider
UK-based investment house, M&G Investments, has selected Bloomberg as its sanctions data provider. M&G has chosen Bloomberg to support compliance decision-making, and portfolio and risk management. Through the adoption of Bloomberg’s sanctions data solution, M&G Investments will have access to Bloomberg dataset of legal entities and financial instruments identified by Bloomberg as being potentially impacted by sanctions.
Northern Trust launches enhanced liquidity management data tool
Northern Trust has launched an enhanced liquidity management data tool for its front office solutions platform. The web-based tool has been designed to allow asset owners better control over their liquidity through unified and customized reporting.
The new liquidity management module offers users a comprehensive view of their portfolios’ liquidity based on several factors, including private-equity real-time data, and expected cash flows.
ING spins out Pyctor digital assets technology to GMEX Group
ING has spun out Pyctor to Global Markets Exchange (GMEX) Group, a solutions provider for exchanges and post-trade market infrastructure. The digital assets platform’s post-trade market infrastructure technology intends to provide secure digital custody and transactional network services for a range of digital assets. Pryctor, which also intends to deliver interoperability between permissioned and public blockchains, is now a service offering within GMEX.
Zennor Asset Management chooses Tora for all-in-one multi-asset system
Zennor Asset Management has implemented Tora’s all-in-one execution management system (EMS), order management system (OMS), and portfolio management system (PMS). Tora’s product has a unified interface, unified nomenclature, and standardized data that intends to deliver workflow efficiency and transparency to users.
Osttra streamlines trade reconciliation with connectivity between MarkitWire and TriResolve
Osttra has announced new connectivity between two of its post-trade services, MarkitWire and TriResolve. The post-trade solutions provider has connected its electronic trade confirmation and procession platform with its portfolio reconciliation and reporting reconciliation platforms. Through this enhancement, trades confirmed by MarkitWire can be delivered directly into TriResolve across a common network of more than 2,000 firms.
TNS launches managed hosting and low-latency trading services in JSE
Transaction Network Services (TNS) is now directly connected to the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) from within the JSE colocation facility, providing managed hosting services and market data connectivity. TNS will offer JSE market data and order-entry access to key equities and derivatives markets in Europe and the United States.
Plenitude receives strategic investment from Growth Capital Partners
Plenitude, an advisory firm and software provider that deals in the financial crime and compliance sectors, has announced a strategic investment from Growth Capital Partners (GCP). The private equity firm’s investment will support the further build out of new capabilities and offerings and will accelerate Plenitude’s expansion plans.
Morningstar Indexes launches Eurozone Gender Diversity Index Select 50
Morningstar has launched a new index to help investors pursue environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives in reference to gender identity. Morningstar Indexes’ new Eurozone Gender Diversity Index Select 50 is powered by data provider Equileap’s insights on gender equality. The index is licensed to Citi to underlie structured products.
