Cboe to use Snowflake cloud for analytics
Cboe Global Markets will migrate its corporate data and analytics functions from its on-premises systems to the Snowflake cloud.
The pairing will allow the exchange to “accelerate our cloud migration journey and modernize how we manage and utilize our proprietary corporate data and analytics for our benefit and that of our customers,” said Eileen Smith, SVP for data and analytics at Cboe. “Snowflake offers a highly-flexible and scalable data cloud platform that will enable our teams to handle increasing amounts of data with greater speed and efficiency, improving our capabilities for managing, mining, and analyzing that data internally across our global business and sharing those insights with our customers. We look forward to the many expected benefits that Snowflake will provide.”
Ice launches the ESG Geo-Analyzer
Intercontinental Exchange (Ice) has launched its Ice environmental, social, and governance (ESG) Geo-Analyzer. The tool leverages Ice’s geospatial data modelling and takes user-provided location data to analyze the climate risk and social impact characteristics surrounding any portfolio of properties in the US. The Ice ESG Geo-Analyzer is due to cover additional geographies globally in 2023.
Intercontinental Exchange (Ice) has expanded its data delivery capabilities in the Asia-Pacific region with the launch of a datafeed access center in Taiwan, called Ice Shared Farm.
Arcesium partners with State Street Fund Connect
Arcesium, a cloud-native solutions provider, has partnered with State Street Fund Connect, a trading and analytics platform by State Street. Arcesium and Fund Connect will introduce new capabilities to provide mutual clients with a consolidated view of their cash portfolios and a single point of access to multiple markets and fund providers.
NatWest starts new bond execution process with Nivaura
NatWest has executed a JPY1billion 5-year fixed rate note on the London Stock Exchange’s debt capital markets (DCM) Flow. This is being powered by the technology of solutions provider, Nivaura. DCM Flow, powered by Nivaura, intends to offer a secure platform to digitize and automate the process of originating trades and signing legal documentation.
French Insurer partners with Clearwater Analytics
Clearwater Analytics has been selected by Intériale Mutual as its investment, accounting, and reporting service provider. The reporting and analytics solutions provider has been selected by the French insurance company for its automated investment data aggregation, reconciliation, and accounting platform.
The insurance firm aims to save a significant amount of time during financial closing periods by applying Clearwater Analytics’ technology. Clearwater could also enable Intériale to evolve its accounting framework to support multi-basis accounting capabilities.
Banca March selects GoldenSource for ESG data management
Banca March has selected GoldenSource ESG Impact to manage data and analytics for its ESG-related investment and banking processes. The Spanish private investment bank will initially use GoldenSource ESG Impact to manage Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (Mifid) II sustainability preferences, and then extend it to cover Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) obligations.
TS Imagine expands its operations in Montréal
TS Imagine is expanding its presence in Canada with the opening of new facilities in Montreal, which is intended to boost its North American operations. The portfolio and risk management solutions provider opened its Montreal development hub in 2019 and is expanding to a new facility this July. TS Imagine’s trading, risk, and portfolio management software platform has been designed to connect to a network of brokers, banks, and exchanges across North America.

Intercontinental Exchange (Ice) has expanded its data delivery capabilities in the Asia Pacific region with the launch of a datafeed access center in Taiwan, called Ice Shared Farm.
This new multi-tenant service has been designed to offer a ‘managed’ experience for customers using Ice’s hosted and managed environments. It intends to remove the need for dedicated market data infrastructure and equipment.
Knoema acquires data consultancy firm to expand analytics solutions
Knoema, a data platform provider has acquired Seek Data, a cloud data and analytics consultancy firm.
Knoema intends to leverage Seek Data’s capabilities to expand its data and analytics solutions. The platform provider aims to meet end-user demand for solutions that are tailored to specific industry needs.
