ING Ventures invests in OpenFin
OpenFin has secured an investment from ING Ventures.The venture capital arm of the bank intends to accelerate the expansion of OpenFin operating system throughout the financial industry. This announcement follows last year’s launch of OpenFin Workspace, the visual interface of OpenFin OS, which includes components for complex windowing, advanced search, actionable notifications and application discovery.
GoldenSource launches cloud data services
GoldenSource, an enterprise data management (EDM) provider, has launched its cloud data services for financial markets. GoldenSource’s new service has been developed to help firms better manage data within data lakes and warehouses. Users will be able to take data from traditional sources, or through cloud marketplaces, and apply GoldenSource’s pre-configured vendor connections and toolkits to use the data in their preferred warehouse.
BNP Paribas Securities Japan joins TSE as broker to provide connectivity to RFQ platform
Last year, Tokyo Stock Exchange launched the RFQ (request-for-quote) platform, Connector, with the aim of improving liquidity in the exchange-traded fund (ETF) market. The Japanese division of BNP Paribas Securities has joined TSE as a broker to provide connectivity to the platform. BNP Paribas will also provide a service to use Connector on behalf of institutional investors so that they can use the service by phone.
Helvetia selects NeoXam to support tech expansion project
Helvetia, a Swiss-headquartered European insurance group, has selected NeoXam, a leading financial software provider, to support the continued expansion of its asset management business. Helvetia Asset Management will use NeoXam’s DataHub platform as part of a project to transform their asset management technology landscape.
Part of the project includes upgrading existing systems to leading investment technology solutions with data management being a key focus point. The DataHub solution will be hosted, maintained, and operated by NeoXam for Helvetia, reflecting the insurance group’s cloud-first strategy.
Moody’s Analytics enhances PFaroe Portfolio Management’s capabilities
Moody’s Analytics has announced the addition of market risk analytics to its PFaroe portfolio management platform. PFaroe PM now offers historical and Monte Carlo risk analytics alongside its multi-asset class performance attribution capabilities. The historical and Monte-Carlo analytics use a new simulation engine to generate market scenarios. The latest version of the PFaroe PM platform will be available starting on August 1, 2022.
S3 Partners collaborates with LiquidityBook.
S3 Partners, a financial data marketplace and workflow platform, has partnered with trading solutions provider, LiquidityBook. The new partnership expands S3’s services and distribution network to a new roster of buy- and sell-side firms, including brokers and lending agents. S3’s Blacklight order management system (OMS) is now available through LiquidityBook, allowing for access to liquidity, action rates, and rank and grade the quality of both borrows and loans.
